Do you live in the Spokane, Washington or North Idaho area?
Are you interested in canoeing or kayaking?
Then the Coeur d'Alene Canoe and Kayak Club is for you!
Our club was founded in the summer of 2005 to establish a community of
paddlers in the area. Together, we explore the region's numerous scenic waterways, learn new skills, and share experiences. Through our activities we increase our safety by paddling in
numbers and by practicing safe paddling habits. And, we use our numbers to ensure that the recreational paddler is fully represented to our local community and government.
The club also conducts safety, skills and rescue clinics through the spring and summer. Other club activities include scenic trips, after-work paddles, long distance excursions, overnighters,
paddle-in camping and fishing trips, and ocean kayak trips --all with an educational focus. We even have picnics, potlucks, and club socials. Whether you are looking to increase your skills
or your safety level, or are just looking for a social outlet, the Coeur d'Alene Canoe and Kayak Club has something for everyone.
Club membership is open to everyone 18 years of age and older although children as
young as twelve can attend trips if accompanied by an adult. Membership costs $25 for an individual or $40 for a family and is valid for the calendar year. If you'd like to know more about joining, click here.
